Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to support the day-to-day functions of our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in HR processes and be willing to learn various aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and training.
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world corporate or startup environment. The HR Intern will work closely with the HR team and other departments, gaining exposure to the full employee lifecycle and organizational HR strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Assist with sourcing candidates from job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.), internal databases, and referrals.

Screen resumes and shortlist suitable candidates as per job requirements.

Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers and candidates.

Follow up with candidates regarding interview feedback and selection updates.

Maintain recruitment trackers, databases, and job descriptions.
2. Onboarding & Documentation

Assist in the onboarding process of new employees (joining formalities, induction, and documentation).

Help prepare employee files and verify documents like ID proof, educational certificates, experience letters, etc.

Update and maintain HR records in Excel or HRMS software.
3. Employee Engagement

Support in organizing team-building activities, birthday celebrations, virtual events, and HR initiatives.

Assist in planning employee recognition programs and feedback collection.

Help maintain employee engagement calendars and event participation records.
4. HR Operations & Administration

Support day-to-day HR operations such as leave management, attendance tracking, and payroll inputs.

Help prepare letters such as offer letters, internship certificates, and relieving letters.

Ensure data entry, file management, and confidentiality of employee information.
5. Learning & Development

Assist in organizing training programs, scheduling sessions, and collecting feedback.

Coordinate with trainers and employees for smooth delivery of learning sessions.

Help track learning outcomes and maintain training logs.
6. Research & Policy Drafting

Conduct research on HR trends, industry benchmarks, and employee retention practices.

Support in drafting or updating HR policies, handbooks, and SOPs under guidance.
Eligibility Criteria:

Education:
-
Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (BBA, MBA, B.Com, MA HRM, etc.).

HR certifications (e.g., from Coursera, SHRM, or Udemy) will be considered an advantage.

Experience:

No prior experience is required; however, any previous internship in HR or admin functions will be a plus.

Required Skills:

Good communication skills – verbal and written (English and local language preferred).

Basic knowledge of HR processes and the recruitment cycle.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data professionally.
