Job Summary:
The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from understanding manpower requirements to sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding suitable candidates. This role plays a pivotal part in building the workforce by identifying and attracting top talent, ensuring cultural alignment, and contributing to the company’s growth.
An ideal candidate should be people-focused, process-oriented, and capable of handling multiple hiring assignments simultaneously. Whether hiring for entry-level roles or specialized positions, the HR Recruiter must balance speed with quality, delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering:

Coordinate with department heads and hiring managers to understand job requirements and workforce planning.

Create or update job descriptions, position summaries, and skill matrices for open roles.

Determine hiring priorities, urgency levels, and sourcing timelines.
2. Talent Sourcing:

Post job openings on various job portals, company website, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, etc.).

Use sourcing strategies such as headhunting, social recruiting, and employee referrals to attract suitable candidates.

Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
3. Screening & Shortlisting:

Review resumes, applications, and candidate profiles to assess qualifications.

Conduct initial telephonic, video, or in-person screenings to evaluate communication, cultural fit, and skill alignment.

Share shortlisted candidates with hiring managers and schedule interviews.
4. Interview Coordination:

Organize and coordinate interview rounds with relevant stakeholders.

Provide feedback to both candidates and interviewers post-interview.

Ensure timely communication and follow-ups throughout the selection process.
5. Offer Management:

Discuss compensation expectations with selected candidates and align with company policies.

Prepare offer letters and assist in negotiation, if required.

Ensure offer acceptance and documentation are completed smoothly.
6. Onboarding & Induction Support:

Coordinate pre-joining formalities, background checks, and joining documentation.

Collaborate with the HR Operations team to organize orientation and onboarding sessions.

Stay in touch with new hires before joining to reduce dropouts.
7. Database & Reporting:

Maintain recruitment dashboards, trackers, and applicant databases using ATS or spreadsheets.

Track key metrics such as TAT (Turnaround Time), source effectiveness, and offer-to-join ratio.

Share regular recruitment status updates with HR leadership or department heads.
8. Employer Branding & Events:

Support HR in employer branding initiatives such as job fairs, campus drives, and social media content.

Represent the company at recruitment events and career expos.
9. Compliance & Policy Adherence:

Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and labor regulations.

Maintain confidentiality of candidate data and hiring decisions.

Promote diversity and inclusion in recruitment practices.
