RINA is looking for HSE Engineer, based out of Mumbai.

Skills and Experience

-      8-10 years experience in Oil and Gas and Petro chemical

-      Engineering Degree, preferred in Process Engineering.

-      Knowledge of national and international standards related to process safety and firefighting like NFPA, OISD,IEC, API, IS, BS, IP, ISA, CCPS

-      Knowledge of process safety activities like HAZID, HAZOP, SIL (LOPA/ Risk graph), SRS, SIL verification,QRA, Disaster management plan, Hazardous Area Classification, Fireproofing & Embrittlement protection layout, Fire and Gas detection layout, Fire and Safety equipment layout, Escape Route layout, Acoustic induced vibration, Noise study. (Software: DNV Past; Standard: NFPA ,API, IEC, OISD, DNV, OGP guideline)

-      Knowledge of firefighting activities like Fire Water Demand and Worst-Case Scenario Calculation,Hydraulic Calculation for fire water network and downstream deluge valve using FATHOM and Pipenet, Spray/sprinkler system P&IDs, Design, Foam Protection system, Gas suppression system, DCP system protection, Fire water pump design, fire water pump and network PIDS, preparation of datasheet of fire fighting, Request for proposal (RFP), Technical queries (TQ), technical Bid evaluation(TBE).Standard: NFPA , API, IEC, OISD, IS, DNV, BS

-      Knowledge of Simulation software namely SoundPLAN, Pipenet, Fathom

-      Clean agent system, DCP system, Fire water Monitor/Hydrant/Hose reel/Hose cabinet, Spray and sprinkler system (Deluge valve/Alarm check valve/spray-sprinkler nozzle) Safety shower eyewash, Extinguishers) Well understanding of inter-discipline interface of design safety engineer with other department in EPC oil and gas companies.

-      Preparation of Material Requisition / Purchase Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluations and Vendor document review of the Firefighting packages.

- Thorough knowledge on the following are expected

1. Fire water demand calculation report

2. Fire water hydraulic calculation report- FW Main/ Spray system

3. Fire water main and spray P&IDs

4. Fire water network layout

5. Fire water sprays system layouts

6. Hose reel and DCP allocation study

7. Review of the probabilistic fire and explosion analysis, Dispersion analysis

8. Review of F&G mapping report

9. Preparation of the fire and gas detection layout

10. Preparation of HAC layout

11. Noise study report review etc

12. Hazardous area classification

13. Fire proofing and embrittlement protection layout

14. Fire and gas detection layout

15. Cause and Effect diagram
