Qualification : M.Sc. (Ag.) Or Ph.D (in Biological Sciences) Or M.Sc. in Biological Sciences with 3 Years Bachelors Degree & 2 Years Masters Degree having NET qualified
Desirable : 1. M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Horticulture/ Agrl. Extension/Agri. Economics allied agriculture branches 2. Ph.D in Botany, Economic Botany/ Biotechnology 3. M.sc in Botany, Economic Botany/ Biotechnology 4. Experience in rice-based cropping system management and conservation agriculture 5. Experience of working with farmers/farmers field under participatory mode
Salary : Rs. 25,000/-
Age Limit : 35 Yrs for men and 40 yrs for women

About Company
ICAR Research Complex ( Eastern Region) was established with a mandate to address diverse issues relating to agricultural production in eastern states of India. The institute came into existence on 22nd February, 2001 with its headquarter at Patna and its regional stations at Darbhanga, Bihar and Ranchi, Jharkhand. One KVK at Buxar, Bihar is also attached to the Complex. Since establishment, the institute has undertaken research work in the areas of land and water resources management, crop, horticulture, aquatic crops, fishery, livestock and poultry, agro-processing and socio-economic aspects for agricultural development in the region so as to improve the livelihood of resource poor farmers.
