Job Description
ICRISAT seeks applications from dynamic Indian Nationals for the position of Senior Assistant – Security Services (2 Positions) and ensure a safe living environment in the Institute with patrolling, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to alarms etc. at the Headquarters in Patancheru, Telangana. The incumbent would report to the Security Supervisor.
a) Name of the Post: Senior Assistant – Security Services (2 Positions)
b) Responsibilities:
1. To carry out security duties at various locations on the farm and within the Institute premises
2. To perform special tasks as deemed necessary for protection and safe custody of ICRISAT property
3. Perform shift duties along with a team of experienced security assistants under the direct supervision of the Security supervisor.
4. To conduct Inspection of all the security related equipment and their serviceability.
5. To carry out regular patrolling of the property during the various shifts
6. To make sure that the relevant rules and regulations of the Institute are adhered at all times
7. To be vigilant always and carry out tasks as assigned
c) Requirements:
1. Minimum qualification SSC passed or higher educational qualification is preferred.
2. Retired Ex. Service Men from the Armed Forces/ Paramilitary Force/ TA with at least 5-7 years’ experience in security services would be given preference
3. Woman candidates with 2-3 years’ experience in a security function are also encouraged to apply
4. The incumbent should have good written and communication skills both in English and Telugu.
5. Should be a good team player and have experience working in multicultural team.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
7. Positive attitude, High Integrity and good decision making skills are important to this role
8. 2-wheeler/4-wheeler valid driving license.
