About Company
Deogarh District, also known as Debagarh District, was newly created on 1.1.1994, being bifurcated from Sambalpur District. The District is surrounded by Angul District on its east and south, Sambalpur District on its west and Sundargarh District on its north. This is a district of Koshal region and is situated in the western region of the state having its head quarters at Deogarh town. Deogarh’s history dates back to 5th century A.D. when Mathara Royal Family was at the helm of the Administration. After this dynasty, Ganga Rulers came into power and established their capital at Deogarh. The rule of Britishers was one of the darkest periods in its history with no major development to show.
