Job Description
1. Name of the Post: Part Time Medical Officer
2. Number of Positions: 01
3. Qualification and Experience:
(i) A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience.
(ii) A registered medical practitioner.
(iii) MBBS recognized by MCI
4. Salary & Allowances: Salary will not be a constraint for the deserving candidate. The selected candidate will be offered fixed-term contract for a period of one year and extendable one year at a time for a maximum period of three years on a consolidated monthly pay package subject to satisfactory performance which will be reviewed on an annual basis.
5. Key Responsibility:
(i) To ensure highest standards of patient care for all patients attending to the Institute’s Medical Centre.
(ii) To provide daily OPD services between 8 am to 12 noon on all days of the week except Sundays and closed holidays, to the IIMI community members.
(iii) Assessment of patient’s condition, maintaining clinical notes and taking the necessary actions and to prescribe medicines as needed.
(iv) Perform urgent medical services like stabilization, assessment and diagnosis and/or immediate resuscitation when necessary and perform treatment and referral to a specialist if necessary.
(v) Establish and maintain teamwork and cooperation with other healthcare providers to ensure patients will receive maximum benefit from coordinated care.
(vi) Keep the Hostel Office and CAO informed about any health-related issue of students on
