Job Description
Applications are invited from the citizens of India for Junior research fellow (JRF) position for the sponsored project in the Department of Physical Sciences, IISER Kolkata. This temporary position is initially for a period of six months and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification, experience, etc. are given below:
1. Project Title: Polarization Mueller matrix spectroscopy and weak measurements on plasmonic metamaterials

4. Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month + 24% HRA
5. Coordinator: PI: Dr. Nirmalya Ghosh, Department of Physical Sciences, IISER Kolkata
6. Project and Job description: Studies on polarization Mueller matrix, spin orbit interaction of light and weak measurements on plasmonic metamaterials and development of polarization and angular momentum based novel techniques for space optics applications. Candidates having research experience in polarization, singular optics, space optics instrumentation will be preferred.
7. Qualifications: Master degree in Physics / Space sciences / Applied Optics and Photonics from a UGC recognized University with and minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate. B. Tech
