Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai (IIT Bhilai) invites application for the position Project Assistant
Title of the project: Reversible CO2 Capture by Mesoporous Polymers and its Subsequent Conversion to Renewable Biodegrable Plastic: A Green Alternative to Petroleum - based Plastic Bottles and Other Polyester Product
Number of Positions: 01
Essential qualifications: MSc (Chemistry/Nanotechnology/Nanoscience) from a recognized institute/university or statutory body with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5 grade points on a scale of 10); For SC/ST category, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate score (6.0 grade points on a scale of 10).
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates working experience relevant to the project. Candidates with expertise in the followings are strongly encouraged to apply: Solution based synthesis of inorganic oxides nanostructures, porous nanomaterials Synthesis of polymers, investigation of kinetics and mechanistic studies Expertise in different analytical techniques, including but not limited to GPC, XRD, SEM, AFM, NMR, IR and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month
Duration: 9 months or, co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier
Age Limit: 35 years
