Job Description
Applications are invited from candidates with good academic background and excellent mathematical skills for the research project entitled, 'Assessing the environmental fate and transport of a mixture of nanoparticles through soil' in a purely time-bound manner undertaken in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Hyderabad. Details are as follows:
1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
2. No. of Post: 01
3. Title of the research project: Performing laboratory experiments and developing mathematical models to understand the transport of a a mixture of nanoparticles in soil
4. Sponsoring agency: Department of Science and Technology
5. Appointment period: 6 months, extendable to 2 years (renewal will be done every six months subject to satisfactory performance and l continued funding availability
6. Remuneration: INR 31,000 per month +HRA as per GOI norms
7. Essential qualifications: ME/M.Tech in Water Resources Engineering/ Hydraulics/Environmental Engineering or allied areas with 75% marks or equivalent CGPA Good mathematical and analytical skills
