Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) invites application for the position Chief Executive Officer

Eligibility: The CEO should be a professional with a passion to work at the society’s grassroot and enhance livelihoods while advancing his /her own career. Should be willing to work in rural setup and travel.
Essential Qualification: Graduate degree or higher / equivalent diploma, in the preferred fields of Agri-business management/ Social work/ Rural Management / Social Entrepreneurship / Agricultural Science / Finance & Marketing
Desirable: Computer literacy. Good written and spoken communication skills in English & Hindi. Familiarity with the greater Kamand region and local dialect. Experience working in rural setup especially business in agricultural space.
Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:
i. Manage FPC successfully and profitably. Liaise with EWOK, IITMandi and NABARD and stakeholders for various activities Maintain communication with Promoting Institute in terms of regular communication, reports etc.
ii. Develop Business Plans, strategies & mobilize resources for the FPC. Explore and pursue opportunities to raise funds or finance options for the running of the FPC. Ensure maintenance of records for audit and other official purposes. Represent FPC at meetings, trade fairs, networking events.
Tenure: 1 year, extendable based on performance review by FPC Board and POPI.
Office location: EWOK Society Office, Salgi Main Road.
The post is purely temporary and does not entitle the candidate to any permanent post at IIT Mandi or EWOK or NABARD
Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 12000/- to 15000/- (consolidated) initially. To be increased based on performance.
Age Limit: Applicant should be less than 60 years
