Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced IMS Engineer to support the deployment, integration, operations, and optimization of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) networks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with IMS Core, VoLTE/VoWiFi services, SIP signaling, and LTE/5G Core technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, configure, and troubleshoot IMS Core network elements such as P-CSCF, I-CSCF, S-CSCF, HSS, TAS, SBC, MRF, BGCF, and MGCF.
Perform IMS integration, commissioning, software upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Analyze and resolve VoLTE/VoWiFi call failures and SIP signaling issues.
Monitor network performance, alarms, and service availability.
Conduct protocol analysis using Wireshark/TCPDump and perform root cause analysis.
Coordinate with EPC/5G Core teams for end-to-end service validation.
Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans, and incident reports.
Collaborate with customers, OEMs, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of IMS Architecture and IMS Core Network.
Hands-on experience with VoLTE and VoWiFi technologies.
Good understanding of SIP, Diameter, RTP/RTCP, TCP/IP, SCTP, and DNS protocols.
Knowledge of LTE EPC and 5G Core architecture.
Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
Hands-on experience using Wireshark, TCPDump, or similar protocol analysis tools.
Exposure to Cloud-Native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) will be an added advantage
