Recruitment of Sports persons against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2016-17.
Educational qualifications: Minimum pass in 10th or SSC or equivalent with ITI for the post of Technician, Grade-III in Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-. For other categories in Grade Pay Rs. 2000/1900 is 12th (+2 Stage) or Intermediate or Equivalent examination

Age limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2017
Fees: Fee of Rs.100/- should be paid in the form of crossed Bank Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad. The fee is not refundable under any circumstances. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, Women, Minority and Economically Backward Classes (Family income is less than Rs.50,000/- per annum) are exempted from the payment of fees.

About Company
South Central Railway was formed on 02-10-1966 when Hubli and Vijayawada Divisions of Southern Railway and Sholapur and Secunderabad Divisions of Central Railway were carved out and merged into a new Zone. Subsequently, Guntakal Division of Southern Railway was merged with South Central Railway on 02-10-1977 and Sholapur Division was remerged with Central Railway. Secunderabad Division was split into two Divisions viz. Secunderabad and Hyderabad on 17-02-1978. Following re-organisation of zones and Divisions with effect from 01-04-2003, two new Divisions viz., Guntur and Nanded were operationalised duly transferring Hubli Division to newly formed South Western Railway.
