Individual Consultant – Technical Officer (Forest Rights Act)

Location :Bhubaneswar, Odisha, INDIA

Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Life Sciences, Development Management, Rural Development, Social Work, public policy, Sociology from national/international institutions of repute

Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience of working in the field of tribal development, social justice and governance.Proven Experience of working with on the protective legislation for tribal communities (Forest Rights Act, PESA etc.) Good understanding of tribal development related schemes and legislations Domain knowledge in areas like governance, convergence, tribal affairs, social justice and social inclusion .Experience in planning, designing, monitoring and evaluation of development programmes and schemes with focus on social protection for marginalized communities,Relevant experience in documentation and preparation of reports on development issues,Relevant experience in conducting training of field staff and other officers regarding the proper implementation of the provisions of the FRA

Language Requirement: Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English, Hindi and Oriya is essential

Consultancy Fee: INR 70,000 per month
