Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals to join in the following positions.
1. Name of the position: Research Associate-I
2. No. of Post: 01
3. Name of the PI: Dr. Soumen Chakraborty
4. Fellowship: Rs. 47000/- per month+ 16% HRA.
6. Eligibility and Selection: Ph.D. in any branch of Biological Sciences with at least one first/2nd author paper. Candidates who have worked in cancer biology including haematological malignancies, as evidenced from their publication(s) will be given priority. Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are waiting for viva voce may also apply. They should provide evidence that they have submitted their thesis. For such candidates, fellowship amount will be that of an SRF until he/she defends their Ph.D. thesis and are awarded the degree.
7. The position will terminate by 31.03.2022. Depending on satisfactory performance of the candidate and the availability of funds the position may be extended for six more months.
Age Limit:
The upper age limit of the candidate should be below 35 years from the last date of application. Age relaxation will be given for five years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/women/PH and three years in case of OBC candidates.
