Qualification : (a)Certificate in Nursing from recognized Institution. (b) Certificate in mid-wifery/ special training for male nurses for 6 months duration. OR I. B.Sc. Nursing. II. Registration certificate as registered Nurse or registered mid-wifery from State Council. III. Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable : 1. Knowledge of Marathi 2. Preliminary training in Word Processing and Data Entry.

At the time of integration the IPHB hospital premises were at Altinho, Panaji-Goa.
