Job Description
Applications are invited for the following posts of Instructors in this department on purely part-time contract basis at a fixed salary of Rs. 11,500/- per month (consolidated) for a period of one Academic Year (i.e. for the Academic Session 2020-21) or till the completion of the course whichever is earlier.
1. Instructor for 'Dress Designing, Cutting & Tailoring' (for the course of Certificate Course in Dress Designing, Cutting & Tailoring (One Year) and Certificate Course in Cutting & Tailoring (Six Months).
Essential Qualifications:i. Graduation and three year Regular Diploma in Garment Technology from the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training or its equivalent OR Four Years Degree in Bachelor of Design (Fashion) or its equivalent from any recognized university. OR Bachelor Of Design (Textile)/ B.A. (with Fashiofi Designing/ Fashion Technology subject)/ B.Sc. (Fashion Designing/ Home Science/ Clothing and Textile)/ B. Voc. (Fashion Designing/ Fashion Technology) with One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Fashion Designing or its equivalent from any recognized university. OR M.Sc. (Fashion Technology/Fashion Designing/ Fashion Designing & Merchandising) or its equivalent from any recognized university. ii. Thea licant should have assed Matriculation with Punjabi.
2. Instructor for 'Fashion Designing' (for the course of Diploma in Fashion Designing (One Year): ii. M.Sc. (Fashion Technology/Fashion Designing/ Fashion Designing & Merchandising) or its equivalent from any recognized university. OR Four Years Degree in Bachelor of Design (Fashion) or its equivalent from any recognized university. The applicant should have passed Matriculation with Punjabi.
3. Instructor for 'Cosmetology' (for the course of Diploma in Cosmetology (One Year) and Certificate Course in Beauty Culture (Six Months): i. Graduation with One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Cosmetology or its equivalent from any recognized university. OR Post-Graduation (any subject) with One Year Diploma in Cosmetology or its equivalent from any recognized university. OR B.A./B. Voc. (with Cosmetology as a Subject) with One Year Diploma in Cosmetology or its equivalent from any recognized university. OR B.A. with One Year Diploma in Cosmetology or its equivalent from any recognized university with a minimum one year experience. OR M.Sc. (Cosmetology) or Its equivalent from any recognized university. ii. Thea licant should have assed Matriculation with Punjabi.
4. Instructor for 'Computer Applications' (for the course of Diploma in Computer Applications (One Year): i. B.Sc (IT)/BCA/ B.Sc.(Computer Science)/ B.M.M or equivalent from any recognized university. OR After Graduation with Computer Application Subject, One Year Post Graduation Diploma in Computer Applications or its equivalent from any recognized university. ii. The applicant should have passed Matriculation with Puniabi.
5. Instructor for 'Web Designing' (for the course of Certificate Course in Web Designing (Six Months): . B.Sc.(IT)/ BCA/ B.Sc.(Computer Science)/ B.M.M, or equivalent from any recognized university. OR After Graduation with Computer Application Subject, One Year Post Graduation Diploma in Computer Applications or its equivalent from any recogn ized university. ii. The applicant should have passed Matriculation with Punjabi. iii. The candidate with experience in Web Designiny may be referred.
6. Instructor for 'Graphics and Web Designing' (for the course of Diploma in Graphics and Web Designing (One Year): B.Sc (IT)/BCA/ B.Sc.(Computer Science)/ B.M.M. or equivalent from any recognized university. OR After Graduation with Computer Application Subject, One Year Post Graduation Diploma in Computer Applications or its equivalent from any recognized university. The appl icant should have passed Matriculation with Punjabi. Experience in Graphics and Web Designing from any recognized institution.
7. Instructor for 'English Speaking & Communication Skills' (for the course of Certificate Course in English Speaking & Communication Skills Six Months: MA (English) from any recognized university. The applicant should have passed Matriculation with Punjabi. The appl icant should exhibit fluency & good communication in the language.
8. Instructor for 'IELTS' (for the course of Certificate Course in Training Programme in IELTS (Six Months): MA (English) from any recognized university. OR Graduation with a minimum of one year experience as an IELTS trainer in any IELTS training institute. The applicant should have passed Matriculation with Punjabi. The applicant should exhibit fluency & good confmunication in the language especially in English Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking etc.
