Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Consultation and Needs Assessment

Engage with clients to understand their personal or business insurance requirements.

Conduct needs assessments to identify risks and coverage gaps.

Analyze client profiles and recommend suitable insurance plans (e.g., life, health, auto, home, travel, or commercial policies).

Educate clients on policy terms, coverage details, premiums, riders, exclusions, and claims procedures.
2. Sales and Business Development
-
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, digital channels, or participation in community and corporate events.

Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into clients through consultative selling.

Promote and cross-sell multiple insurance products to maximize customer value.

Achieve individual sales targets, monthly quotas, and performance benchmarks set by the company.
3. Policy Management and Support

Assist clients in completing applications, verifying documents, and understanding underwriting requirements.

Guide customers through renewals, policy changes, or policy cancellations as needed.

Provide ongoing service by updating client records and ensuring policies remain relevant as client circumstances evolve.

Help clients file claims and liaise with the claims department to ensure timely resolution.
4. Market and Product Knowledge

Stay updated on new insurance products, policy updates, and regulatory changes.

Understand competitors’ offerings and market trends to position products effectively.

Participate in product training sessions, certification programs, and industry workshops.
5. Compliance and Documentation
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in CRM or internal systems.

Ensure that all client interactions and transactions are compliant with company policies and insurance regulations.

Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality regarding client information.

Submit daily/weekly reports on sales activities, leads status, and customer feedback.
