Job Description
Intern (2 positions)
Duty Station: Panaji
EDUCATION: Applicants to the UNDP internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements:
(a) Be enrolled in a gradute or postgraduate degree programme (such as a Bachelor’s, or higher);
(b) Have recently graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation;
(d) Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program.
Essential:Candidates with graduate degree in Social Work, Business Management, Economics, Social Sciences or related field OR enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent);
SKILLS:Experience in data collection and analysis in the field of social or economic development fields;Strong commitment to promoting gender equality, excellent interpersonal and communication skills;Good command in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as handling web-based applications.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:Fluency in English, Hindi and Konkani.
DELIVERABLES: Final survey report of waste pickers
Final survey report on Dry-Waste Collection in a ward
Assisting in drafting timely monthly and quarterly progress reports.
Country Office team regularly updated on programme implementation and key developments
Careful documentation of all the necessary files and IEC Material
The monthly internship stipend (full time) is INR 12,404/- per month
