Interns Job Opportunity At Jadavpur University

Number of Posts: A maximum of 2 interns will be selected 

Required Qualification:
(i) At least 60% marks in Economics in both Graduation and PostGraduation Examinations.
(ii) Specialization in international trade
(iii) Knowledge of Econometrics and the statistical packages used for econometric analyses, like SPSS, STATA, R etc. 

Eligibility Criterion: Post graduate students of JU, who have appeared in the final semester examinations of the department or who have successfully completed Masters degree with requisite qualifications in the current year as well as within 3 years, who are not in any part time/full time employment, M. Phil. students who are currently enrolled and have submitted their M. Phil. dissertation but awaiting award of the M. Phil. degree and not enjoying any UGC/CSIR/Government/Institutional Fellowship may be considered eligible to apply. Non-NET Ph.D. students of Jadavpur University may also apply provided they get No Objection Certificates from their respective supervisors. 

Remuneration: The intern will be paid an all inclusive contractual amount Rs.30,000/- (Rs. Thirty thousand only) per month. No other benefits viz. Provident Fund, Medical Facility etc. will be available. Interns who would be continued for the second year or subsequent years would be given a remuneration of Rs. 33,000/-.
