Job Description
Notice Inviting Applications for Internship Project with Tea Board
Title Tea Board India, Kolkata, is looking for young and dynamic individuals to work as interns for a prestigious Social Media project of Tea Board for a period of two months
Preferred qualifications: Graduate from any recognized university, BA/BFA/Diploma in graphic design, digital marketing, advertising design or related field will have an added advantage, Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
The internship period of deserving candidates may be extended and an honorarium may be granted at the discretion of Competent Authority of Tea Board. The decision taken by Tea Board in this matter will be final.

What to Expect:The selected Interns shall help the Promotion Directorate of Tea Board with work related to management of Social Media platforms, tea tasting and graphic designing.

Please Note: The notification is for internship work without any remuneration for a period of one month. A certificate will be awarded on satisfactory completion of the internship.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date of walk-in interview.

Tea is one of the industries, which by an Act of Parliament comes under the control of the Union Govt. The genesis of the Tea Board India dates back to 1903 when the Indian Tea Cess Bill was passed. The Bill provided for levying a cess on tea exports - the proceeds of which were to be used for the promotion of Indian tea both within and outside India. The present Tea Board set up under section 4 of the Tea Act 1953 was constituted on 1st April 1954.
