Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions at IUST purely on contractual basis for a period of one year (or co-terminus with the project) for the Project titled “Employment and Skill Enhancement Enablement of High Computing and e learning through IUST cloud by IUST for Kashmir Division Colleges” sponsored by the Higher Education Department, Govt. of J&K.
1.Designation : Junior Research Fellow (Project)
2.Job Profile: Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks, Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues. Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
3.Salary: Rs. 26,000 per month (Consolidated)
4.Number of Positions: One (1)
5.Essential Qualification:
I. 1st Class B.E/B.Tech Computer Science or Equivalent / MCA/ MSc. IT
II. Minimum two years experience as System Engineer/System Administrator
III. System Administrator Certifications: At least one of the following System Administration certification Courses
a) Linux system administrator certification
b) Red Hat Certified Engineer
c) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
d) VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Centre Virtualization
e) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA
6.Desirable Qualification: Hands on experience in Linux/Windows System Administration, Debug/troubleshoot , Experience with Active Directory/Group Policy, Backup/Recovery technologies, Knowledge of Disk Management with Raid, LVM, Virtualization, DNS, DHCP Servers installation configuration & Troubleshooting, Knowledge of Scripting
