Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

Work closely with stakeholders, business users, and clients to understand project objectives.

Conduct interviews, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to collect detailed business requirements.

Analyze existing business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.

Document functional requirements, technical specifications, and process flows.
2. Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary liaison between business teams and the IT department.

Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements based on business value and feasibility.

Ensure smooth communication across project managers, developers, QA testers, and business leaders.

Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to align expectations and project deliverables.
3. Solution Design & Development Support

Translate business requirements into system design specifications.

Work with the software development team to ensure the proposed solutions meet business objectives.

Provide functional input during the design and development phases.

Identify potential technical limitations and risks and propose suitable alternatives.
4. Testing & Quality Assurance
-
Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and test cases.
-
Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
-
Validate that solutions meet business and functional requirements before deployment.

Ensure overall quality, accuracy, and stability of the delivered IT solutions.
5. Process Improvement & Optimization

Analyze business workflows, systems, and data to identify process improvement opportunities.

Recommend and implement automation, integration, or optimization strategies to enhance efficiency.

Evaluate technology upgrades, new tools, and emerging trends for potential adoption.
6. Project Management & Reporting
-
Assist project managers in planning, tracking, and delivering IT projects on time.

Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for stakeholders.

Monitor deliverables and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
-
Manage risks and ensure issues are identified, tracked, and resolved promptly.
Required Skills & Competencies
1. Technical Skills
-
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Familiarity with database systems, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise software solutions.
-
Experience with business process modeling, UML diagrams, and workflow tools.
-
Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Trello, or similar project management platforms.
-
Understanding of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau) is an added advantage.
