IT Enterprise Computing IN/APJ Data Center Manager
Location : Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Responsibilities :
- Monitor and supervise the overall quality and service of the DC operation and maintenance in accordance with the DC contract and SLA.
- Ensure DC readiness for deployment of new IT infrastructure. Deployment will normally be based on prior planning with Service Providers, Capacity Service Owner and relevant IT teams who support the business.
- Interface and escalation point to DC Capacity Service Owner and relevant IT teams who support the business for any DC Facility related cases.
- Responsible to ensure DC best practices are followed by all parties accessing the DC.
- Ensure DC has been constructed to Nokia requirements, agreed Architecture and Contract.
- Coordinate with DC Facility provider that DC Facility related topics (Building, Space, Power, Floor, Cooling, Humidity, Security, Access, BMS, Fire Suppression) are completed.
- Review and ensure overall quality and service of the DC operation and maintenance are in accordance with the DC contract and SLA.
- Ensure DC Facility provider prepares and shares the appropriate facility related documentation, drawing and schematics to Nokia.
- Ensure DC Facility provider sends agreed DC Facility reports at agreed periods.
- Ensure all tenant suppliers follow DC Facility procedures and policies published by Facility provider.
- Fulfils temporary SPOC and interface needs between the DC Facility provider and the Nokia internal users for DC Facility topics.
- Coordinates IT rack/equipment deployment inside DC with DC Facility provider.
- Ensure racks/IT equipment are deployed inside the DC after considering floor, power and cooling architectural designs and agreements.
- Establishes and maintains DC Facility utilization (Rack and Power) reports.
- Creates a status report of DC Facility topics and health with relevant Nokia Management/Leadership team.
- Defines and acts as temporary Nokia SPOC and Escalation point for colocation DC Facility topics for assigned DC locations (Bangalore, Hangzhou).
- Communicate DC Facility related changes and Maintenance Schedules to relevant IT teams supporting business.
- Enables efficient use of Nokia Store room at DC Facility provider’s premises.
- Enables monitoring of all DC Facility Incidents/Problems and ensure appropriate resolutions are enabled by DC Facility provider.
- Defines and enables review of Problem ticket RCA for Facility incidents.
- Defines and enables how to review and approve variable power utilization report and invoices.

- Defines access approval process on for Service Providers.
- Acting Local SPOC for DC expansion requirements.
- Defines and enables common parts of processes in all of the global DC locations
