Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The IT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top technical talent to support our company’s IT and software development needs. This role requires a strong understanding of IT roles and technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage full-cycle recruitment effectively.
The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for various IT positions, including software engineers, network administrators, system analysts, and other technology professionals. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to build a strong, innovative technical workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Sourcing and Outreach:

Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified IT candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and other channels.

Use Boolean search techniques and other tools to find passive candidates.

Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future IT openings.
2. Screening and Interviewing:

Review resumes and applications to shortlist candidates based on technical skills, experience, and job requirements.

Conduct initial phone or video screenings to assess candidate fit, technical abilities, and career goals.

Coordinate technical assessments and interviews with hiring managers and technical leads.

Provide timely feedback to candidates and interviewers.
3. Candidate Management and Coordination:

Manage the recruitment process from sourcing to offer acceptance.

Schedule interviews, manage candidate communication, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Negotiate salary packages and manage offer letters.

Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires.
4. Collaboration and Reporting:

Work closely with hiring managers to understand their IT staffing needs and role requirements.

Provide market insights and recommend recruitment strategies.

Maintain recruitment data and update applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate quality.
5. Employer Branding and Engagement:

Promote the company’s employer brand within the tech community.

Participate in IT job fairs, meetups, hackathons, and other events to network and attract talent.

Build and maintain relationships with universities, coding boot camps, and other talent sources.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
Experience:

Experience in IT recruitment or technical staffing preferred.

Familiarity with technical roles and technology stacks (software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, etc.).
Technical Skills:

Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Workday, Greenhouse, Taleo, or similar.

Skilled in sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other platforms.

Basic understanding of programming languages, software development lifecycle, and IT terminologies.

Comfortable screening technical resumes and assessing candidate skills.
