Responsibilities

·        Write and post technical job descriptions

·        Source potential candidates on online platforms / portals

·        Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes

·        Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates

·        Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work

·        Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements.

·        Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products

Requirements

·        Proven work experience / interest as a Technical Recruiter

·        Technical know-how with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles

·        Familiarity / knowledge with Applicant Tracking Systems, Job portals and resume databases

·        Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Recruitment:

  • Manage the entire recruitment life cycle for IT positions—from requirement gathering to onboarding.

  • Understand technical job descriptions, skill sets, and requirements in detail.

  • Coordinate with department heads and hiring managers to forecast talent needs.

2. Sourcing and Talent Pipeline Development:

  • Source potential candidates through job portals (e.g., Naukri, Monster, Dice), LinkedIn, social media, and internal databases.

  • Proactively build talent pipelines for critical or recurring technical roles.

  • Use Boolean search and other advanced sourcing techniques to identify top talent.

3. Screening and Evaluation:

  • Conduct preliminary screening to assess candidates' technical skills, communication ability, work experience, and cultural fit.

  • Schedule and coordinate technical interviews with internal panels or clients.

  • Evaluate and compare candidates objectively based on qualifications and role requirements.

4. Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand team goals and hiring expectations.

  • Provide regular updates on recruitment status, challenges, and market trends.

  • Act as a consultant to hiring managers, advising on candidate availability, compensation trends, and market competition.

5. Candidate Engagement:

  • Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

  • Provide a positive candidate experience to enhance the company’s reputation and candidate retention.

  • Negotiate salary packages and job offers aligned with internal salary bands and candidate expectations.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of candidate progress, interview feedback, and hiring outcomes.

  • Prepare recruitment status reports, offer letters, and other HR documents as required.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, hiring standards, and data privacy norms.
