While we have traditionally relied on the judgement of teachers and gurus to identify this potential, we feel that data and technology hold the key in making this process much more systematic and reliable. We designed a web based platform that showcased the power of clearly represented data and analytics to school, by identifying the difficulty in data capture in remote areas where there is a limited/no internet connectivity, the major criteria that was holding back the universal application of data based systems in the educational industry. SchoolCom SmartTab works offline with the ability to sync over 2G data connection. Started with just 3000 students in 2013, we have over 150000 students on the SchoolCom platform today.
