i. Selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India or abroad. The applicants are advised to check their eligibility before applying so as to avoid disappointment at a later stage.
1. Position: Stenographer (Direct Entry) - Male
2. No of Posts: 19
3. Educational qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
4. Skill Test norms: a) Dictation - 10 minutes@ 80 words per minute. b) Transcription - 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on the computer.
1. Position: Stenographer (Direct Entry) - Female
2. No of Posts: 02
3. Educational qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
4. Skill Test norms: a) Dictation - 10 minutes@ 80 words per minute. b) Transcription - 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on the computer.
1. Position: ASI(Stenographer) (Limited Departmental Competitive Examination)
2. No of Posts: 17
3. Educational qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
4. Skill Test norms: a) Dictation - 10 minutes@ 80 words per minute. b) Transcription - 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on the computer.
Age Limit:
18 to 25 years. b) ASI (Steno) LDCE) (Only for ITBPF Serving Personnel): Up to 35 years
Application Fees:
Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only). Fees are exempted for females, Ex-Servicemen, and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
