Job type: Contractual for 6 Months to 1 Year
Java Developer
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled java developer to join our team for implementation of a Java-based project.
Requirements:
• Must have 4-6 years of experience in building micro services using Java
• Hands-on experience in building micro services using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Docker and Kubernetes
• Very Strong in Core Java (Collections, Threads, Regular Expressions, Exception handling, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate)
Key Responsibilities
1. Software Development
-
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code based on technical specifications.

Develop and maintain backend components, services, and business logic.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Build and deploy APIs and RESTful web services.
2. Requirement Analysis
-
Interact with business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather and understand project requirements.

Participate in requirement analysis, feasibility studies, and technical planning.
3. Application Design
-
Design scalable, robust, and secure software architecture using design patterns and development best practices.

Participate in system design discussions and document technical specifications.
4. Testing and Debugging
-
Write and execute unit tests using testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.

Perform integration testing and assist in system testing.

Debug and fix bugs, issues, and performance bottlenecks in the application.
5. Code Review and Version Control
-
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
-
Use version control tools like Git to manage code repositories and workflows.

Follow Agile/Scrum development practices and contribute to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
6. Maintenance and Support
-
Maintain and enhance existing Java applications.

Monitor application performance, identify issues, and implement fixes or enhancements.

Provide support for production deployments, bug fixes, and upgrades.
7. Documentation
-
Create and maintain documentation for code, systems, and processes.

Write technical documents such as user guides, API documentation, and design specifications.
