- Play a key role in the definition and delivery of the innovative Solution offerings
- Work closely with the Architect to develop the best technical design for solution development
- Be the custodian of a module / sub-system / application from a technology perspective and own its design and code throughout its lifecycle
- Analyze business / user scenarios and incorporate these insights to evaluate / critique the technology options made at all tiers (UI to Data)
- Design and Build modules without losing the view on the larger system level view
- Work with complex algorithms / rules and advanced analytics requirements
- Design and Build software solutions where the problem is not well defined
- Review the work of the developers, mentor them and promote a healthy team culture
- Good understanding of the overall Cloud Based Solutions, B2B Portals, BI, Reporting and the emerging trends
- Strong in Java/ Spring/ Hibernate
- Experience in Data Stream Processing Technologies like Storm / Kafka is a big plus
- Good understanding of the emerging Big Data Technologies and Tools (Hadoop, Map Reduce, Spark, R etc.)
- Good awareness of challenges posed by Big Data and Cloud based solutions.
- Working experience in developing applications for the cloud such as AWS, Azure
- Hands on and well versed on
- Data structures and patterns that can be used in Big Data / Real time data situations
- Open source stack and tools that address Big Data / Real time data situation
- Rule engines (drools)
- Open Source SDLC tools (Development, Test, Build and SCM)
- Coding (Primarily Java. Python and js (Node.js) is an added advantage)
- Prior experience in (Enterprise Class) solution development will be a big plus.
- Prior exposure to Machine Learning and Number crunching Algorithms will be a big plus
- Prior experience in analyzing large volumes of data Log Analysis and Recommendation systems will be an advantage
- About 6 - 8 years of relevant experience.
