The following post to be filled purely on temporary basis under INDO-US TB Project, Dept. of Preventive and Social Medicine, JIPMER.

1. Name of the post: Technical assistant (Lab)
2. No of Post: 01
3. Qualification: Bachelor degree in life science from a recognized university with minimum 3 years' experience in a recognized Institute/ hospital.
4. Roles and Responsibilities: Packaging and transport of samples. Sample collection and preparation. Query rectification. Stock maintenance. Maintaining specimens, collection log and sample registers. Entering the barcoded samples.
5. Pay/month (Approx.): Rs. 20,000
1. Name of the post: Technical assistant - IT (Admin)
2. No of Post: 01
3. Qualification:
a) Essential: Diploma in Computer Science. Proficiency with basic computer programs including MS Office and database systems.
b) Desirable: Tamil Translation and typing.
4. Roles and Responsibilities: Technical support related to both hardware and software. To maintain in-house computer systems, desktops and other devices. Troubleshoot and fix hardware and software issues. Assisting in basic Administrative tasks. Organizing team meetings and recruitment process. Tamil translation and typing of research documents. Any other work assigned as and when required.
5. Pay/month (Approx.): Rs. 150,000
