Job Description
HIRING FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT/JOURNAL EDITOR
Location - Chennai
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understand the
typesetting work flow.
- Understand the
author/publishers requirements.
- Co-ordinate with
all the departments.
- Tracking
daily/weekly status of ongoing projects.
- Coordinating
across various teams (internal/client).
- Efficient
follow-up with concerned teams for closure of any delivery requirement.
- Intermediary between client and customers.
- Coordinating with clients through e-mails.
- Organizing telephone conference, if required.
- Provide training to editors as and when required.
- Serve as an internal resource for the Production and
Editorial departments.
- Maintain the database of the journal and analyze areas of
improvement.
- Ensure high quality deliverables within the agreed time
span.
- Moving the papers to production system in a timely
manner.
- Ready to work in
Rotational shift timing (6: 00 A.M to 1:30 P.M) 1st Shift
- (1: 30 P.M to 8:
45 P.M) 2nd Shift. (No Night Shifts)
Required Candidate's Profile:
- Effective English communication skills including
verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and
adaptable to changing priorities.
- This
includes oral communication too. The ability to conduct telephone conferences
and knowledge about telephone etiquette would be appreciated.
- Have
extreme patience with outstanding convincing skills.
- Can contribute
to the teams growth and is a team player
- People with
prior work experience in the same domain are also welcome.
- People with E-mail support (or) chat support experience would be an added
advantage.
- Required
Qualification: Any Science Graduates
(above 55% without any standing arrears)
