Job Description

Jr. Translator job Position in Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) Pune purely on short-term contract basis

Qualification: A Master’s degree from a recognized University in English/ Hindi with Hindi/ English as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level. OR Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as main & English as one of the elective subject. AND Recognized Diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa OR Two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking.

Desirable: 2 years experience preferably in Govt./SemiGovt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies/ Reputed Institution in the relevant area in PB -1 as per 6th CPC or equivalent with Operational Computer knowledge.

Age Limit: 30 years or below as on 1st August 2018.
