JRF Basic Science Job vacancies in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar
Title : Development of Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes Risk Assessment model for Diverse Ethnic Indian Population
Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate
Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in
Professional Course. A master’s degree in public health/health management/hospital
administration/information technology/other relevant area is preferred. Fluency in
Hindi and English is required.
Preferred: A post graduate degree in health-related discipline with experience in: use of technology to collect field-based data; working with healthcare providers; working with patients of diabetes or cardiovascular disease or any other chronic condition; household survey data collection; working with large datasets; familiarity with using data management software; conducting statistical analysis of epidemiological data using STATA or similar software; and writing research proposals. Fluency in Gujarati and/or any other Indian language would be a great strength.
Consolidated Monthly Pay: Rs.25,000
Selection : Selection will be based upon an interview and shortlisted candidates will be intimated well in advance the date and time of the interview.
