JRF Chemical Engg. Job vacancies in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar
Project Title: “DSIR-Common Research and Technology Development Hub (CRTDH) in the area of Chemical Processes (Dyes and Bioremediation)”
Junior Research Fellow (JRF 1)
Qualification and Experience: BE/BTech with GATE / ME/MTech in Chemical Engineering and/or Dye Technology or allied branches (e.g. Chemical Technology, Dyes & Pigments Technology, dye stuff technology, etc.) with at least 60% marks or 7 CPI. Desirable: Excellent oral and written communication skills with capacity to work in a team. Candidates who have prior experience in the area are preferable.
Consolidated Monthly Pay: Rs. 25,000/-
Junior Research Fellow (JRF 2)
Qualification and Experience: M.Sc in Chemistry or Dye Technology or allied branches (e.g. Chemical Technology, Dyes & Pigments Technology, dye stuff technology, etc.) with minimum 60% marks or 7.5 CPI and GATE, CSIR NET qualified. Desirable: Excellent oral and written communication skills with capacity to work in a team. Candidates who have prior experience in the area are preferable.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF 3)
Consolidated Monthly Pay: Rs. 25,000/-
Qualification and Experience: M.Sc/M.Tech in Chemistry or Chemical Biology or Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering or allied branches of Science or Engineering with minimum 60% marks or 7.5 CPI and GATE, CSIR NET qualified. Desirable: Excellent oral and written communication skills with capacity to work in a team. Candidates, who have prior experience in Bioremediation for dye and dyestuff, are preferable.
Terms: Initially for one year. But performance based yearly extension is possible for maximum 5 years.
Mode of Selection: The shortlisted candidates will be called for written examination /interview. The final selection of candidates will be decided on his / her merit and performance in the interview / written test or both the tests.
