Job Description
Applications are invited for a JRF position in the Department of Chemical Engineering at BITS
Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a DST-SERB funded project entitled “Predicting grease
lubrication behavior: (a) novel methods to determine grease rheology at extremely large shear
rates and (b) the role of nanoscale and mesoscale structure of grease in film formation inside
tribocontact”.
Eligibility: M.E./M. Tech in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Material Science and Engineering or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks. GATE qualified candidates with valid scores will be preferred. Candidates with M.Sc. (Chemistry) with NET /GATE qualification can also apply. The selected candidate will be eligible to apply for admission to the Ph.D. program at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus (rules and regulations for the Ph.D. program at BITS Pilani are applicable).
Position: 1 JRF
Fellowship amount: Rs. 31,000 (1st
and 2nd
year) and Rs. 35,000 (3rd
year) for GATE / NET
qualified candidates, however for non-GATE / non-NET candidates the same is Rs. 28,000 (1st
and 2nd
year) and Rs. 31,000 (3rd
year).
