1.Title of the Project: Production of JP-8 Range Fuels and Chemicals from Pyrolysis bio-oil using Nanostructured Catalyst

2.Description of the project:The project is aimed tö developing design and development of novel mesoporous and nanostructured catalysts and processes for the production of JP-8 range biofuels from non-food competitive bio-renewable sources. The project will include characterization and optimization ot nanostructured catalvst on model compound.

3.Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- per month (On campus accommodation is not guaranteed) The registration for Ph.D at Chemistry Department, Anna University it may possible.

4.Eligibility: M.Sc. M.Phil in Chemistry or other relevant course of chemistry with minimum first class. M. Tech/ M .E. Chemical/ Nanotechnology/Petroleurn Technology or other relevant branches.

5.Desirable qualification; Working knowledge in catalyst, bio fuel or Petroleum related is desirable. Experimental skills, data analysis proficiency along with good communication skills. GATE score and/or CSIRNET JRF qualified is desirable.

Age Limit:Candidate should not be more than 30 years of age.
