Job Description
Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a research project titled "Development of Control Schemes to Enhance Stability and Dynamic Performance of Islanded AC Microgrids", funded by Science & Engineering Research Board, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

2. Objectives of the project: The aim of this project is to investigate the small signal stability of a microgrid containing multiple DGs, different load types as well as storage system and develop suitable control strategies to improve the dynamic performance of islanded microgrids. The developed control strategies need to be validated through control hardware-in-the-loop (CHIL) simulation also.
3. Eligibility: Essential Qualifications: First class B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related branch. GATE score in relevant area is mandatory
4. Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having exposure to dSPACE and real time simulation tools are encouraged to apply.
5. Emolument: INR 31000/-+HRA (if hostel accommodation is not provided)
6. Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable further based on performance up to the duration of the project. Selected candidate may be considered for admission to Ph.D. programme as a regular full-time scholar at IIT Indore.
