Jr. Research Fellow Forestry(Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics) Job Opportunity in Punjab Agricultural University
Project: “Aegilops speltoides as a source of resistance against spot blotch of wheat CSS-21 (PC-6221)”
Essential Qualifications:
1. B.Sc.(Agri.)/B.Sc.(Hort.)/B.Sc.(Forestry)/B.Sc.(Medical)/ B.Sc.(Biotechnology ) with minimum OCPA 6.0/10.0 basis or 60 % marks.
2. M.Sc. in Plant Pathology/Plant Breeding & Genetics (crop plant )/ Biotechnology (crop plants) with minimum or OCPA 6.50/10.0 basis or 65% marks.
Desirable: Experience/ Research work in relevant field.

Pay Scale: Rs. 25000/- P. M. fixed for 1st and 2nd year and Rs.28000/ p.m for 3rd year + 20% HRA
Note: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with three years Bachelor’s degree must have NET qualification and two years research experience. However, Ph.D candidates are exempted from this condition. The candidates should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.
