Title: Integrated Studies of Himalayan Cryosphere in Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh (SAC Glacier-III funded project)

Essential Qualification: Ist Class Master Degree in Physics/Geology/Earth Science/Geography or relevant subject/B. Tech. in relevant brand of Engineering

Desirable experience/Duties : Experience of working with GPS/GIS environment  Experience of field work in high altitude areas across Himalaya/glaciers in Uttarakhand or Arunachal Pradesh.

Emoluments :Rs. 16,000/- pm +HRA for NET JRF/GATE qualified or Rs. 12,000/- pm +HRA for others

Age:* Maximum 28 Years

Junior Project Fellow /01 Post

Title: Water Sustainability Mapping in Himalaya: Status, Trends and Options.  (In house project)

Essential Qualification First Class Masters degree in Physics/Earth Sciences/Geography or relevant subjects/ B. Tech in Civil/ Agriculture/ Environmental Engineering.

Desirable experience :Experience of working with GPS/ GIS environment. Experience of field work in high altitude areas across Himalaya/glaciers in Uttarakhand.
