Job Description
Junior Research Fellow recruitment in the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB)
DBT funded research project entitled 'Antibiotic permeation through porins in gram positive bacteria at the single molecule level'
Essential Qualifications: Master's Degree in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Physics or Biochemistry with 70% marks with a valid JRF/ Score in national level examination conducted by the Central Government Departments/ Agencies such as CSIR-UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET)/ MHRD - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/ DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility test/ IACR- All India Competitive Examination (AICE)/ Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR - JRF Entrance Examination/ Lectureship in CSIR-UGC.
A minimum of 1 year experimental work experience in a lab in the field of membrane proteins, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, analytical chemistry and biophysical techniques.
