JRF Physics recruitment in Manipal University – Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE)
Project Title : “Variability of the UV sky using UVIT onboard ASTROSAT”
Qualification: M.Sc. (Physics) with NET or equivalent qualification or M.E/M Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science/Other relevant branches with strong physics background. A good computational skill and knowledge of programming in python/perl is desirable.
Remuneration: Rs. 25,000 per month + HRA (as admissible) for first two years and Rs. 28,000 per month + HRA (as admissible) for the third year.
Duration of Project: Initial appointment is for a period of one year, extendable to two more years subject to the satisfactory performance. After first two years, candidate will promoted to a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for one more year subject to the assessment of the performance in the previous years
Other Benefits: Selected candidate may be entitled to register for Ph.D. program of the institute (subject to an assessment and fulfilling the eligibility criteria).
