Job Description
Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM along with attested copies of certificates for one position of Jr. Research Fellow @ Rs. 31000/- P.M. fixed + 16% HRA or Project Associate I @ Rs.25000/- P. M. + 16% HRA against the post of JRF provided in the scheme “Pyramiding genes for resistance to yellow mosaic disease and null kunitz trypsin inhibitor in two most popular soybean verities through MAS CSS-27 (PC-6330)” in Pulses Section for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
1. Educational Qualifications:
a. B.Sc.(Agri.)/B.Sc.(Agricultural Biotechnology) with minimumOCPA 6.00/10.0 basis or 60 % marks.
b. M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Agricultural Biotechnology with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.0 basis or 65 % marks.
2. Note: 1. M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Agricultural Biotechnology with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks and with NET may be recruited as JRF @ Rs.31000/- P. M. + 16% HRA and candidates without NET may be recruited as Project Associate I @ Rs.25000/- P. M. + 16% HRA
3. Note: 2 Desirable: I. Experience /Research work in Soybean/Pulse.
