Project Title : 'Geospatial Assessment Of Mangrove's Species Discrimination In Indian Sundarbans, Their Health And Effect On Environment And Climate Change Using Airborne Hyperspectral (Aviris-NG) And Risat-I Remote Sensing Data'

Research Associate

No. of Post : 01

Qualification : M.Sc. in Marine Science/ Marine Biology/ Oceanography.A warded/submitted Ph.D. supported by peer reviewed publications.

Desirable : Degree/PG Diploma in Remote Sensing (RS) &Geographical Information System (GIS).

Research Experience : Prior experience of field inventory in Mangrove ecosystemsof the GBM delta would be preferred. An overall good knowledge on Mangroves of Sundarban and hyperspectral remote sensing is desired.

Fellowship : Rs. 36,000/ 38,000/ 40,000 pm (for RAI/RAII/RAIII) + 30% HRA

Age Limit : 35 years

Junior Research Fellow

No. of Post : 01

Qualification : M.Sc. in any branch of Science with at least 55% Marks. UGC/CSIR NETis essential.

Desirable : Degree/PG Diploma in Remote Sensing (RS) & Geographical Information System (GIS).

Research Experience : Preference will be given to those having good knowledge in Statistics/Physics/Computer Programming !Remote Sensing and experience in using MATLAB.

Age Limit : 28 years

Fellowship : Rs. 25,000 pm (1st and 2nd year) and Rs.28,000 pm (3rd year) + 30% HRA
