Qualifications :
For JRF : M.Sc./B. Tech in Biotechnology, Microbiology,
Biochemistry, Life Sciences or equivalent with NET/GATE.
For SRF : M.Sc./B. Tech in Biotechnology, Microbiology,
Biochemistry, Life Sciences or equivalent with at least two years of post M.Sc
/ B.Tech research experience as evidenced from published papers in standard
refereed journals is required OR M. Tech in Biotechnology or equivalent.
Fellowship :
For JRF - 12,000/- per month + HRA (as per rules)
For SRF- 14,000/- per month + HRA (as per rules)
Age Limit : The upper age limit for JRF and SRF shall be 28 and 32 respectively as on the day on which the application is made. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
