Job Description

Two posts of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) for MRC (UK) sponsored project under Dr. Indranil Samanta, Department of Veterinary Microbiology, WBUAFS, Principal Investigator of the said project.

Name of the Project: ‘A multi-stakeholder approach towards operationalising antibiotic stewardship in India's pluralistic rural health system’

Emoluments: JRF will receive Rs. 25,000 / month (consolidated)

Qualifications: Essential: 1. Master’s degree in Veterinary Sciences (any discipline) / agricultural extension / social sciences / rural management / mass communication / or any related discipline 2. Experience in conducting qualitative in-depth interviews 3. Written and oral communication skills in English and Bengali 4. Willingness to travel extensively in the field

Desirable: 1. Experience with managing field based health projects in West Bengal 2. Conducted qualitative data analysis and usage of relevant software

Age: Maximum 35 years (age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates)
