Job Description
We are looking for junior architect for a firm in Kochi. Passionate individuals who are eager to work with dedication are very welcome.
Produce detailed construction documents.
Coordinate with consultants and contractors.
Attend client meetings and conduct site visits.
Ensure all designs meet building codes and regulations.
Support project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Drafting Support:

Assist senior architects in creating architectural designs and plans for projects.

Develop detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, sections, and elevations using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.

Create 3D models and renderings for presentations, using tools like SketchUp, Rhino, or similar software.

Modify and update design drafts based on feedback from senior architects, clients, or project managers.
2. Project Documentation:

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for each project phase, including design sketches, plans, and technical specifications.

Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including material lists and technical drawings.

Ensure all drawings and plans comply with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.

Work with other team members to update project documentation in response to changes during the project lifecycle.
3. Research and Analysis:

Conduct research on building materials, construction methods, and design trends to support the design process.

Assist in analyzing the environmental impact of design choices, ensuring sustainability principles are integrated into the project.

Review and analyze site conditions, building codes, and regulatory requirements for various projects.

Provide support in the preparation of presentations and reports for clients and stakeholders.
4. Collaboration and Teamwork:

Work closely with senior architects, engineers, and designers to bring the architectural vision to life.

Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress, timelines, and client feedback.

Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors as required to ensure smooth project execution.

Contribute ideas and suggestions for project improvements, while learning from the expertise of senior team members.
5. Site Visits and Coordination:

Assist in site visits to observe construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.

Communicate with contractors and construction teams to ensure that the design is implemented accurately and on schedule.

Support the senior architects during inspections and coordinate with the construction team to address any design-related issues that arise on-site.
6. Client Interaction:

Assist in presenting designs and concepts to clients, providing updates on the progress of projects.

Gather client feedback and relay it to senior architects for consideration in the design process.

Help prepare visual presentations, renderings, and models to convey architectural ideas and design solutions to clients.
