5. Educational Qualification (as on the date fixed for Documents Verification): Law Graduate from a recognized University established by law in India or equivalent with three (3) years' course of Proficiency (Professional) Degree.
6. Physical Fitness: Candidates must be in good mental or bodily health and free from any mental or physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his duties as a member of service and if selected must produce a certificate to that effect from a Medical Authority as may be notified by the Nigamfor the purpose.

i. Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary Examination from a recognized Board or its equivalent examination.
ii. The candidate must be possessing "0" or Higher Level Certificate Course conducted by DOEACC under control of the Department of Electronics, Government of India;
iii. Certificate course on Computer concept by NIELIT, New Delhi;
iv. Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/ Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) certificate organized under National/State Council of Vocational Training Scheme;
v. Degree/ Diploma Certificate in Computer Science/ Computer Application from a University established by Law in India or from an institution recognized by the Government;
vi. Senior Secondary Certificate from a recognized Board of Secondary Education in the country, Computer Science/ Computer Application as one of the subjects; OR One subject related to computer in one semester/year in Bachelor's Degree/Higher QualificationlCA(I.T.T. Certificate)/ICWA/CS/MBA.
vii. Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a polytechnic institution recognized by the Government;
viii. Rajasthan State Certificate Course In Information Technology (RSCIT) conducted by Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota under control of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited
a. Candidates must possess working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
6. The history of power development in Rajasthan goes back to the year 1949, when 19 princely states merged to form Rajasthan. At that time, electric power was confined to very few towns and electricity was considered a luxury. The total number of towns and villages electrified at that time did not exceed 42 and the installed generating capacity was only 13.27 MW. However, with the formation of Rajasthan State Electricity Board (RSEB) on 1st july 1957, power sector in Rajasthan received priority and power projects began to mushroom all over State. Under new Power Reforms Undertaken by State Government,on 19th July 2000, RSEB was unbundled.
