Job Description
Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow
a.Assesment of the application of the cyber physical system in water treatment in the process industires.
b. Design and development of IoT enabled micro and nanobubble generatorsfor industrial applications.
c. Design of low cost hydrodynamic cavitation unit intregated with cyber physical system for industrial water treatment applications.
Postion: Junior Research Fellow – JRF (Contract)
No of Position: 3 (Three)
Salary: A consolidated salary of Rs. 31,000/month will be provided as per the norms.
Duration: Initially for 1 year
Essential Qualifications: The applicant must meetsof at least one of the following two criteria.
a) Bachelor'sdegree in Chemical/Mechanical/Civil/Polymer/Engineering or Technology and Master degree in an allied discipline with good academic record (with a GATE/CSIR-NET qualified score) with a minimum of 60% marks (or 6.5 Grade points out of 10) (55% marks for SC/ST).
b) Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Civilengineering (4 years program) with a minimum of 75 percent marks/7.5 CPI with valid GATE score except for graduates from IITs with a minimum CGPA of 8.0. The relevant experience in industry/academia/research will be given the preference.
Desirable Qualities:
a) Good knowledge of the subjects of fluid mechanics, water treatment
b) Excellent writing ability and oral communication skills, and the ability to do multi-task, effectively.
