Laboratory Attendant /  SRF  job vacancies in University of Delhi on temporary basis

Project Title  :  'Development of Hemoglobin Based Artificial Oxygen Carrier -Engineered Recombinant and Packaged Hemoglobin'

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

No. of Post  :  02

Qualification :  M.Sc in Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biomedical Sciences or related subjects in biological sciences, with first class (60% and above) marks in all the degree examinations. The candidate must have 2-3 years of research experience post master's degree as evidenced by valid recommendation letter or experience certificate from appropriate authority or research publications in a peer-reviewed journal. Research experience in protein based biochemistry, spectroscopy, molecular cloning, site directed mutagenesis and computational biology is required. One of the SRF position will need applicants with experience in animal handling or liposome / nanoparticle based research.

Desirable :  Prior experience with hemoglobin chemistry and kinetics is desirable.

Emolument : Rs. 28000/- + 24% HRA per month.

Laboratory Attendant

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification :  10th with Science subjects.  A minimum of 7-8 years full-time work experience in Life Science laboratory is required with capabilities of handling formal computational and administrative office work in addition to experience in protein expression, protein purification, SDS-PAGE, bacterial transformation.

Desirable :  Experience in preparation of culture medium, autoclaving etc is desirable.

Consolidated Salary :  Rs. 20,000/- per month.
